PLEASE read at least the top half of my userinfo/profile before adding me or commenting on my journal.

This journal is for me to write and/or link what I want to write/read. If you find it interesting that is all well and good.

I knit, take photographs, read, write and play World of Warcraft (WoW) dependent on my health on any particular day. I have multiple sclerosis, PCOS and also depression. Much of the time, though, I am pretty much fine.

I am an often pedantic polymath philomath

My bio elsewhere:
Knitter, philomath, cat-minion, married, WoW-player, PwMS, 'retired' programmer and "pedantic software/web accessibility/usability/functionality tester/QA/proofreader from HECK!"

My journal is often totally public and revealing. Feel free to read but please do not use it as a venue for flame-wars and arguments - take those elsewhere.

There is more information about me below the contact details link.

The English to American Dictionary

Second stanza quoted from "Traveling Dream" by Marge Piercy because it sums up my life:
 Secretly the clock is bolting
forward ten minutes at a click
instead of one. Each time
I look away, it jumps.

A week ago feels like a minute ago and something my alarm reminded me to do an hour ago feels like one second ago. Maybe this explains why I forget everything - it is more that I know I still have ages until a deadline that has already passed me by.
